Saint Christ of Tlacolula Festivity
Date: Second sunday October.

This holiday is in honour of the Holy Image of Christ of Tlacolula, on the second Sunday in October, lasting for the next five days. The programme consists of events organised by the parish clerk, calends, get togethers, fireworks, fairground, sporting events, Mixteca ball game, jaripeos [Mexican rodeos] and two dances, the "Dance of the Gardeners" and "Dance of the Feathers". The latter is truly representative of the Oaxacan Central Valleys.
